On board

We boarded the ship and it's huge, although apparently there are larger ones. There are two swimming pools, 5 places to eat, a library, computer room, theatre, shops, gym, spa...  A small village!   

The cabin/stateroom is large and has everything you need and more. I had a Poseidon Adventure moment though.  When I looked down the very, very long corridor of staterooms the only time I had seen anything on this scale was in that film. This was reinforced/mixed up with thoughts of the Titanic when we had to muster at our stations for the safety drill. It was all a bit chaotic...

There's an interesting mix of people on board. Many Americans and Australians, plus some Europeans.

It's certainly an amazing vessel and everyone is finding out where to go and trying out things as well as planning the excursions that they will take.
